Brenda Prevatte Dennis

Brenda Prevatte Dennis,76, of Rockingham passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born September 16, 1945 in Richmond County a daughter of the late William LeRoy and Macie Woods Prevatte.

Mrs. Dennis was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church. She retired from Richmond County Daily Journal. Then she joined the staff at Richmond Co Memorial Park for several years. She also worked at H&R Block for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Roberdel Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Childers and Rev. Jason Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park with Rev. Mike Childers and Rev. Robby Stewart officiating.

Surviving, A son, Billy Dennis and wife Sandy of Rockingham; Grandchildren, Heather Jones and husband Calvin of Rock Hill, SC and William Dennis and wife Tiffany of Forest City, NC; Sisters, Dolores Adame and husband Rey of Myrtle Beach, SC and Candace Everett and husband Jerry of Rockingham; A brother, Rick Prevatte and wife Diane of Hamlet.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
