Bobby Roberts

Mr. Bobby Roberts of Hamlet passed away Tuesday morning, November 20th 2018 at his home.

Mr. Roberts was retired after a career in the Finance Business.  He enjoyed gardening, classic autos, Nascar and making his homemade “Bob-E-Que”. Mostly he enjoyed telling stories to his many friends and family.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Ghant Roberts ; a daughter, Lee Ann Roberts Middleton and favorite son-in-law, Joe, of Charlotte ; a son, Troy Roberts of Hamlet ; one grandson, Jordan Middleton, of Waxhaw NC ; his sister, Betty Jean Goodwin and her husband Ronnie, of Rockingham ; and special sister-in-law Shelby Sherrill and brother-in-law Frank Sherrill, of Rockingham. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents, Vester and Dorothy Roberts and a brother, Curtis Roberts.

Services for Mr. Roberts were conducted privately.

The family requests memorials be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US Hwy 1 N., Rockingham,  NC  28379.
