Bobby Legrand Honeycutt Sr., 84 of Hamlet, N.C., passed away Sunday April 11, 2021 at Richmond County Hospice Haven. He was born September 2, 1936, in Nash County, N.C. The son of the late Walter and Honore Craft Honeycutt.
Mr. Honeycutt served in the U.S. Army in the Fifth Infantry in occupied Germany and the 101st Airborne. Bobby was a good loving man. He loved God, Country and Family. His humble and kind spirit will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine English Honeycutt, a son Bobby Thomas Honeycutt and a daughter Marty Honeycutt Thomas.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Richmond County Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Bishop Marvin Taylor officiating. Due to Covid-19, we please ask you to wear a face mask and continue social distancing.
Surviving are his children, Timothy Honeycutt, Kathryn Honeycutt, Michael Honeycutt, Bobby Legrand Honeycutt, Jr. all of Rockingham, Scottie Honeycutt Wallace of Hamlet, Roxanne Honeycutt Quick (Chuck) of the home, Hamlet, N.C. 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Brothers, Junior Honeycutt, Larry Honeycutt, Billy Honeycutt, Don Honeycutt and a sister Joyce Honeycutt Kryder.
