Betty Lou Killian Benoist,89, of Rockingham, NC, died on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at FirstHealth of Richmond County of natural causes.
Betty Lou was born to Raymond and Tressie Annas on September 27, 1932, in Newton-Conover, NC.

She was married to Glenn A. Killian from 1950 until his death in 1997. She remarried to Rev. Grady Benoist.

In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, Betty Lou enjoyed working in her flower garden, doing crafts, cooking and baking, visiting with family and friends, and attending Freedom Baptist Church. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Betty Lou is survived by her sister, Jean Goodman, of Newton-Conover, NC; her sons, Tim Killian (Bonnie) of Austin, TX and Dave Killian (Susan) of Rockingham, NC; her grandchildren, Tim Killian, Jr, David Killian, Jr, Travis Killian, and Kayla Killian; her step grandchildren, Joey Benoist (Melissa,) April Benoist-Vuncannon (Rodney,) and Cody Young (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Zoey Killian, Kaitlyn Flint-Payne, Brandon Gibson, Justin Gibson, Savannah Vuncannon, and Sawyer Young.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Tressie Annas; her husband, Glenn A. Killian and her husband, Grady Benoist; her brother, Wayne Annas; her stepsons, Grady Benoist, Jr and Eddie Benoist; and her grandchild, Kristen Killian Nooe.
