Alice Faye Johnson Jenks

Alice Faye Johnson Jenks,79, of Hamlet passed away Sunday, march 21, 2021 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Will and Sally Huggins Johnson.

Mrs. Jenks retired from the Textile Industry.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Vernon Richard Jenks, sisters Thelma Hayes, Gladys Chavis, Sara Weatherford, Flora Johnson and Peggy Johnson, brothers J.W., Doc and George Johnson, and a grandson, Vernon Franklin Jenks, Jr.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, March 24, 2021 2:00 P.M. at Richmond Co. Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Bryant officiating. Due to COVID-19 please wear a face covering and to continue social distancing.

She is survived by her sons, Vernon Franklin Jenks and wife Regina, Rodney Richard Jenks and wife Sheila and Forest Dean Jenks and wife Ashlie. Grandchildren, Natalia Chavis, Christina Miller, Casey Morgan, Travis & Kevin Jenks, Toni, Matt & Dusty Jenks, Tristen & Jessica Jenks, Ricky Jenks Ashley Phifer and Austin Goins; Stepsons, Kenneth Robert Jenks, Donald Gary Jenks; Six step grandchildren and one special step granddaughter Chandra Millkan; Sister, Patricia Clark and Geraldine Jones. Many great grandkids and one great great granddaughter. Numerous nieces and nephews.
