William Burl Hudson, 95, of Hamlet passed away Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon)on Saturday December 30, 2017 at Abundant Life in Rockingham.
The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Born February 4, 1922 in Richmond County he was a son of the late William and Sarah Luther Hudson and was preceded in death by his son, John B. Hudson.
Mr. Hudson was a WWII Navy Veteran, an electrician with Clark Equipment Company and a member of Pee Dee Methodist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Taylor of Hamlet, one son, William Hudson of Rockingham, one sister, Ruth Propst, one brother, James D. Hudson both of Rockingham, eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and a special child, Colton Foss.
Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet is assisting the Hudson family.
