Mrs. Saralyn Paul, 58, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born July 1, 1959 in Richmond County, daughter of the late Steve and Carrie Blayton Paul.

Mrs. Paul was an Activities Assistant at Windsor House and Rockingham Manor for many years. Previously, she had worked with Richmond Apparel and Shoney’s. Mrs. Paul enjoyed helping people. She loved music, going to the river on weekends, and she adored her grandchildren.

A time to gather and celebrate Mrs. Paul’s life with her favorite music and sharing favorite memories will be Saturday, January 20th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Ellerbe at her youngest sister and favorite brother in law’s home, Mellie and Kenneth Webb at 271 Hwy 73 West in Ellerbe.

Mrs. Paul is survived by her children, Melissa Lassiter of Peachland and Amanda Lassiter of Rockingham; grandchildren, Madison Lassiter, Bryson Bullard, and Payton Bullard; sisters, Stephanie Rainwater and Mellie (Kenneth) Webb; nieces and nephews, Joshua Hatley, Hollie Webb, Matthew Webb, Nicholas Webb, and Adam Webb; and a number of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Christmas Eve Billings.
