Nancy Napier Snead,62, passed away June 2, 2017 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. She was born February 3, 1955 in Richmond County, a daughter of the Ralph Meggs and Myrtle Lee Moore Napier.

Mrs. Snead retired from Richmond County Schools System with 35 years of service. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed walking her dog, Lucky, and talking to Maggie, one of her 4 cats. Nancy loved all animals and feed squirrels, birds, and stray cats at her home. She enjoyed playing Rummy with some close friends. Nancy was well known throughout the town of Hamlet.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Snead.

A celebration of her life was held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Watson-King funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Randy Bishop officiating.

Surviving, Her brother Bob Napier and wife Clara of Wadesboro; One nephew Tony Napier, wife Jodi, and great niece Kaitlyn, of Myrtle Beach SC. Special lifelong friends, Debbie Owens and Ginger Watson of Hamlet.
