Mr. Larry C. McKay, 78, of Rockingham passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital. He was born November 13, 1938 in Richmond County, son of the late Carl and Elizabeth Crouch McKay.

Mr. McKay was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. He was retired from Winn – Dixie Stores with thirty seven years of service, and he was a veteran, serving in the U. S. Army.

Services were conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 24th in the mausoleum of Richmond Memorial Park with military honors and Rev. Joel Perry officiating. The family had visitation to see friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at Watson – King Funeral Home in Rockingham.

Mr. McKay is survived by his wife, Louise Hinson McKay; sisters, Annette Womble and Norma McKay; nieces, Beverly Jund and Cindy King; and nephews, Glenn Womble, Eddie Thompson, and Kevin Thompson.
