Mr. James Milton Everett, Sr. 74, of Rockingham went home to be with his Savior on Monday July 17, 2017 at his home.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday July 20th
At Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a member, with Pastor Michael Price officiating.
Born October 21, 1942 in Richmond County he was a son of the late Clem and Image Haire Everett and was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Billy Everett, Robert Everett, three sisters, Hattie Everett Mathews, Louise Everett Watts, and Beulah Everett Hoffman.
After proudly serving his country in the United States Navy he worked in textiles.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Linda Gaddy Everett, one daughter, Penny Everett Neiderhiser and husband Duane of Summerville, SC, two sons, James. M. Everett, Jr. and Christopher R. Everett and wife Sarah all of Rockingham, one brother, Paul Everett of Rockingham, and five grandchildren, Nicholas Adam Hoyle and Zachary Jordan Hoyle of Summerville, SC, Christopher Jordan Everett, Kelsey Lynn Forester, and Taylor Colby Forester all of Rockingham.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church.
