Mr. Jackie L. Abrams,78, of Rockingham, died Monday, July 17, 2017 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. He was born May 21, 1939 in Richmond County, a son of the late Joseph L. and Pearl Phillips Abrams.

Mr. Abrams served in NC National Guard and retired from LOF Glass Company. He was a member of Outreach For Jesus.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Outreach for Jesus at 11:00 A.M. with Bishop Marvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.

Surviving, His wife of 58 years, Catherine Teal Abrams of the home; A daughter, Susan Rogers and husband Kirk of Rockingham; A son, Jeff Abrams of the home; Granddaughter, LaDonna Quick of Rockingham and a great granddaughter Anna Marie Vo.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times of the home of his daughter and son-in-law home 124 Elder Ave. Rockingham, NC 28379.
