Infant Parker Thomas O’Neal passed away on June 12, 2017 in his mamas loving arms at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. He was born June 5, 2017 a son of Matthew Thomas and Lisa Austin O’Neal.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 16, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving, His parents, Matthew Thomas and Lisa Austin O’Neal of Rockingham; Maternal grandparents Joy Dawkins Austin of Rockingham, Jerry Lynn “Zero” Austin of Rockingham and Paternal grandparents, Tommy and Terri Nichols and Charlie and Debbie O’Neal all of Rockingham; Great great grandparents, Ernestine Nightgale Dawkins of Rockingham, Naomi Brigman Peele of Hamlet, Leatha Greene O’Neal of Rockingham; Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00- 2:30 P.M. in the church fellowship hall prior to the service at the church.
