Kay Atkinson Holt

Kay Atkinson Holt,77, of Rockingham passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her home. She was born April 26, 1946 in Richmond County a daughter of the late George W. and Irene Yarborough Atkinson.

Kay retired from the Textile Industry and love to play softball. She also enjoyed bowling, crafts and watching the Atlanta Braves.

She preceded in death by her husband George Holt.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Childers officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.

Surviving, Daughters, Connie Harris(William), Donna Taylor(Chris), Rhonda Holt(Eric Barrington), Kathy Morgan(Jonathan) and Denaysia Holt(Taye Harrington); Sisters, Sylvia Raines and Carolyn William; Grandchildren, Erica Harris, Linda Salcedo, Christopher Taylor, Jr., Ashley Holt, Stacey Strickland, Kevin Strickland, April Martin, Scot Skipper and Holly Dawkins; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 Great great grandson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home of Kathy and Jonathan Morgan, 364 Airport Rd. Rockingham, NC 28379.
