Bruce Weaver Talyor, 51, of Rockingham died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 29th in the chapel at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Gene Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Willis Cemetery in Dummer, New Hampshire.
Born November 22, 1965 in Raleigh. A retired stockbroker and past president of the Alabama Stockbrokers Association, Bruce was a graduate of Mt. Brook High School in Birmingham, AL and Auburn University in 1988 with a B.S. in marketing. He was in the US Army from 1988 to 1996, receiving the Air Assault Badge, Army Commendation Medal (1st OLC), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, Defense of Saudi Arabia Campaign Medal, Liberation of Kuwait Campaign Medal, Valorous Unit Award, Army Saudi Arabia Campaign Medal, Army service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Parachutist Badge, and Army Aviator Badge.
He is survived by his mother, Natalie Glover Sparks of Rockingham, his father, Jack Talyor of Birmingham, AL, wife Katrina Talyor of the home, two children, Lauren and Kenneth of Birmingham, AL, step-daughters, Ashley and Heather of Hamlet and Rockingham, step-son, Travis LaFlamme of Dummer, NH, grandchildren, Kaylyn, Chase, Brooke, and Jaiden, two brothers, Michael Talyor and Eric (Mary) Talyor, two nephews, Nicholas and Jacob all of Birmingham, AL.
The family will receive friends after the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
