Arthur Boyer

Arthur “Art” Howell Boyer III, 56, of Rockingham, passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. Art was a son of Sylvia Dyson Boyer Walters and the late Arthur Howell Boyer Jr. and was born December 3rd, 1967, in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Art worked in auto repair as a Collison Specialist and took immense pride in his work. He loved mustangs and motorcycles with a passion.

Art was the much beloved son of Sylvia Walters (John) of Hartsville, South Carolina. Along with his mother, he is further survived by his siblings Chris Boyer (Andrea) of Rockingham and Caroline MacLellan (Lee) of Lookout Mountain, Georgia; nieces and nephews Christopher Boyer, Madyson Boyer, William Boyer, Tyler Boyer all of Rockingham, and Charlie MacLellan of Lookout Mountain, Georgia; uncles Lyn Dyson (Marsha) of Rockingham, Kenny Boyer (Brenda) of Middletown, Ohio, and Bryan Boyer of Ft. Laurderdale, Florida; aunts Cindy Floyd (“Bubba”) of Rockingham, and Lisa Pinto (Henry) also of Rockingham. Art also leaves behind his much beloved partner, Deanna Dunn and her children Aaron Dunn and Cameron Dunn of Rockingham.

Family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, March 24th, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Roberdell Methodist Church. Memorial service will immediately follow with Rev. Paul Haber officiating.
